Moulding Technician or Die Setter

A major injection moulding company is moving to 7-day production operation, indicating very strong forward demand for its product range.  They will, as a result, need you to join them!

Does the idea of four, twelve-hour shifts on, followed by four off, sound appealing?  It’s a demanding work schedule – two, twelve-hour day shifts followed by two, twelve-hour night shifts – but it also provides longer gaps between work to pursue hobbies, interests or relaxation.  You could be on the ski slopes when there’s no one else there, or fishing midweek on the upper reaches.  You could attend the kids’ sports day or take the boat out on the Marlborough Sounds.

You’ll be working for a company that manufactures a broad range of products, so your work will always be varied and challenging.  There are more than 55 moulding machines and the plant boasts a “clean room” used for some of its critical products.

While they would prefer it if you were already living and working in New Zealand, they are prepared to consider Die Setters and Moulding Technicians from overseas
